The head of the EU Delegation in Chisinau continues discussions with Moldovas opposition. After meeting with Vasile Costiuc, EU officials invited the leaders of the Alternativa bloc to talks with Iwona Piorko.
European diplomats published images showing Iwona Piorko alongside Ion Ceban, Ion Chicu, Gaik Vartanean, Mark Tkaciuk, and Alexandr Stoianoglo. According to the Delegations press service, these meetings highlight the essential role of pluralistic dialogue in the EU accession process.
“EU accession is a national project that brings benefits to all Moldovans, and the active involvement of the opposition is crucial to its success,” the EU mission in Chisinau said.
On January 19, Iwona Piorko announced the launch of discussions with leaders of parliamentary opposition parties. She first met with Vasile Costiuc, leader of the Democracy at Home party.
