Maia Sandu received today, March 30, at the Presidential Administration, a joint delegation of the European affairs committees from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Finland, and Poland, who are on a working visit to Chisinau. Discussions focused on priorities and developments related to Moldova’s European integration, as well as the regional security situation.
Participants addressed the need to keep support for Ukraine on the international agenda. Delegation members also expressed appreciation for Moldova’s resilience in the face of foreign interference in democratic processes.
Both sides reaffirmed firm support for Moldova’s European path and reviewed progress achieved so far. They emphasized the importance of continuing and strengthening reforms in the justice sector, as well as enhancing security measures, including efforts to combat information manipulation.
President Sandu reiterated her commitment to accelerating reforms within the EU accession process in order to deliver tangible results and meet citizens’ expectations.
