Residents in northern areas of Tulcea County and Galati County received a RO-Alert message on the morning of May 7 amid attacks taking place in Ukraine.
Authorities sent the warning at 08:40 a.m. and advised people to seek shelter in safe places because of the possibility of objects falling from the airspace, according to ProTV.Ro.
In the message, authorities urged citizens to remain calm and avoid traveling outdoors during the alert.
At the same time, Romanian authorities issued an extreme alert valid for 90 minutes because of risks generated by the Russian raids.
