Filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer Mihai Tarna, originally from the Republic of Moldova and based in France, walked the red carpet at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where he presented the teaser of his upcoming feature film “Chisinau My Love,” currently in post-production.

Although the film has not yet been officially released, the teaser has already attracted strong attention from both audiences and film professionals, with the project being regarded as one of the most promising upcoming productions.

During the festival events in Cannes, Mihai Tarna received a special award in recognition of his artistic contribution and his efforts to promote European and Moldovan cinema on the international stage.

Earlier, before his participation in Cannes, the project “Chisinau My Love” also received an award in Bucharest from Fashion TV, being named “Best Film of the Year” despite still being in post-production. Through this double international recognition, Mihai Tarna further strengthens the growing presence of Moldovan-born creators in contemporary European cinema.
