The Government will organize the event “Strong Mayors, Developed Localities” in Chisinau’s Great National Assembly Square (GNAS) on May 29. The event will focus on promoting local public administration reform.
Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu announced the initiative and said the event aims to strengthen local governance and support community development across Moldova.
He also confirmed that Romanian Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan will attend the event during his visit to Chisinau. The Moldovan government described Romania as Moldova’s main strategic partner and a key supporter of local development projects.
The agenda will also include discussions on ongoing joint projects and cooperation programs between Moldova and Romania, with a focus on implementation at the local level.
