Holders of diplomatic and special passports issued by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova could soon travel to Tunisia without visas. The government places a draft decision on the agenda of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The executive is expected to approve the opening of negotiations on the abolition of the visa regime, and the government plans to examine the initiative at its meeting on June 11.
The authorities have not yet announced who will join Moldova’s delegation to negotiate the agreement with the Tunisian side.
Alexandru Munteanu, Foreign Minister Mihai Popsoi, and Interior Minister Daniella Misail-Nichitin are expected to sign the government decision.
