Vasile Tofan, the designated candidate for the position of prime minister, announced on Friday, July 17, the list of ministers for the new Government. Ludmila Catlabuga, Andrian Gavrilita, Emil Ceban, and Cristian Jardan will not be part of the Tofan Cabinet.
“I have completed consultations with parliamentary factions, as well as with representatives of various associations and organizations. The government program is in the final stages of completion. On July 21, I will go to Parliament with a team of strong professionals who will bring an accelerated pace of work to all government institutions and move things forward. The strength of a team lies in the unity with which all its members work toward the same goal, and I thank those who have accepted this responsibility at a decisive moment for the Republic of Moldova.
At the same time, I am grateful to the ministers who have worked tremendously in recent months to launch essential changes and bring our country closer to the goal of EU accession: Ludmila Catlabuga, Andrian Gavrilita, Emil Ceban, and Cristian Jardan,” Vasile Tofan wrote on Facebook.

It is recalled that President Maia Sandu designated Vasile Tofan as a candidate for the position of prime minister on July 11.
