The economic state of emergency in the Transnistrian region has been extended for another 30 days. The so-called Supreme Council in Tiraspol approved the “decree” issued by the region’s leader, Vadim Krasnoselsky, regarding the continuation of the measure, IPN reports.

According to the Tiraspol administration, the special regime was introduced due to declining productivity and the worsening economic situation in the region.

The economic state of emergency on the left bank of the Dniester was first introduced in December 2024. After its expiration, the regime was reinstated on December 18, 2025, and has since been extended every 30 days.
