(VIDEO) Lawmakers Respond: Why Does Moldova Need Technical-Military Cooperation with Ukraine

A military-technical cooperation agreement with Ukraine was signed in Kyiv. The opposition has criticised the deal, claiming that the document could violate Moldova’s neutrality, while the parliamentary majority says it is necessary to protect the country’s citizens.

Igor Grosu revealed that Moldova signs similar agreements with other countries, including Russia and Belarus. Members of the parliamentary majority said the document would be made public once it reaches Parliament.

Opposition MPs have questioned why the agreement is still being kept secret and are calling for greater transparency.

More details on what lawmakers have said about the agreement are available in the attached report.
