Until the 90s, Victor worked as a telecommunications engineer, but one day he felt the call of his family and returned to his childhood passion. If at first, wood was just a passion, over time it turned into a source of income. He learned to work with wood from his father, but Victor goes annually to exhibitions and workshops abroad to learn new woodworking techniques.
For 30 years, the craftsman has been carving traditional masks, trophies, bottle holders, whistles, and sometimes also making pieces of furniture. Victor Pelin wants the tradition to be passed down from generation to generation. He has already taught his daughter to carve wood and hopes that other descendants will follow in his footsteps.
