The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with a group of ministers and secretaries of state from Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Romania, Sweden and Hungary.
The interlocutors discussed the European course of the Republic of Moldova and the progress made by our country in the last year, and the head of state reiterated that our country’s place is in the European Union.

At the same time, the ministers noted the results achieved by the Republic of Moldova in the field of political representation of women, but also the efforts undertaken by our authorities to promote equality and combat gender violence.
We mention that today the ministers and secretaries of state are in Chisinau on a visit on the occasion of International Women’s Day, marked on March 8, to support the European path of the Republic of Moldova and highlight the contributions of women in the processes of modernization and European integration.
