The President of the Parliament of Latvia is coming to Chisinau

The President of the Parliament of Latvia, Edvards Smiltens, is coming to Chisinau next week. This is what the speaker Igor Grosu announces.

Meanwhile, the official had a meeting today with the ambassador of the Republic of Latvia in the Republic of Moldova, Uldis Mikuts.

“Following the visit, we intend to intensify inter-parliamentary cooperation relations with Latvia, and at the same time, we are interested in taking over good legislative practices in areas such as good governance, regional development, fighting corruption or information security. We already have collaborations in these fields, but we would like to expand them, for the benefit of the citizens”, writes Grosu.
