Today, a valuable consignment of medical equipment, valued at nearly half a million dollars, was generously donated to our country by prominent contributors, namely the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Union (EU), the United States, and Switzerland.
The formal handover ceremony took place in the presence of Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, who expressed sincere gratitude to the partners for their unwavering support to the Moldovan health system. Minister Nemerenco highlighted that the newly acquired equipment would also play a crucial role in providing medical care for refugees from Ukraine.

The delivered medical equipment comprises 50 operating tables, 50 resuscitation trolleys, 150 stretchers, and 35 operating room lights. This invaluable equipment will be strategically distributed among 53 hospitals, encompassing 34 district, 16 republican, and three municipal hospitals, ensuring that medical facilities across the country benefit from these crucial resources.
