The courtyard of Ion Creanga Theoretical High School transformed into a colorful European space, where students celebrated the cultural diversity of the European Union through dances, themed stands, and artistic performances dedicated to member states. The school organized the event on the occasion of Europe Day and brought together students, teachers, and diplomatic representatives.

The Embassy of Greece in the Republic of Moldova also highlighted the atmosphere after attending the celebration at the school’s invitation.

“The schoolyard transformed into an authentic European space, animated by stands dedicated to the member states of the European Union—a vivid and hopeful reflection of the Republic of Moldova’s path toward its European destiny. The message resonated clearly, sincerely, and convincingly: ‘Moldova is Europe,’” the embassy stated.

According to the diplomatic mission, the Greek presence added “a special emotion” to the event. Greek dances showcased Hellenic culture, while two students carried the flags of the European Union and Greece.

“The imagination, dedication, and ingenuity of all the students truly impressed us and created the atmosphere of a genuine European celebration,” the embassy added.

The event dedicated to Europe Day emphasized European values, cultural diversity, and the Republic of Moldova’s closer alignment with the European community.
