A group of Moldovan MPs will travel to Kyiv on February 24, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu announced. The delegation includes representatives of the parliamentary majority.

Igor Grosu said he will personally commemorate the victims of the war in Chisinau. He plans to attend an event organized by the Embassy of Ukraine at a venue in the capital.

“I have already signed the delegation order for my colleagues from Parliament, the MPs. I will also participate. I received an invitation to an event on the 24th, here next to Parliament, at a venue. The ambassador invited me. There will be a documentary film screening,” Igor Grosu stated.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether opposition MPs will also travel to Ukraine. Representatives of the legislature added that on the evening of February 24 they will illuminate the Parliament building in a thematic display.
