The so-called Ministry of Economy and Development in Tiraspol announced that technical problems with the boilers at the MGRES power plant may cause electricity supply interruptions in several districts.
As a result, authorities have already recorded the first outages at 1,661 addresses on both the left bank and the right bank of the Dniester River.
Emergency power cuts have partially affected Tiraspol, Bender, and the districts of Slobozia, Ribnita, Grigoriopol, Camenca, and Dubasari.
According to the announcement, authorities expect to fully restore electricity supply within one hour.
