A new fake in social media. Defense Ministry: Moldova will not host 500 soldiers from France

The Republic of Moldova will host the deployment of 500 French soldiers. It is the new fake distributed in several Telegram channels citing a French magazine as the source.

The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Moldova announced it in a post on Facebook.

“This is a provocative and manipulative disinformation. The Ministry of Defence appeals to citizens to inform themselves only from official and credible sources,” the Ministry of Defence said.
