Not a single agreement signed with the CIS in the agriculture field has been denounced by Moldova, Agriculture Minister Vladimir Bolya said in a program on Jurnal TV.
“The Agriculture Ministry has 24 agreements. They all concern the recognition of phytosanitary and veterinary certificates. We have an agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed bilaterally for each of the states, because today we export to the CIS market about 50 percent of our grapes’ and apples’ production, including bulk wines. In case of denunciation, we will stop the economic activity of thousands of economic agents in one second,” said Vladimir Bolya.
Earlier, government spokesman Daniel Voda said that Moldova had signed 282 agreements within the CIS. Of these, 79 are at the stage of denunciation, 120 have already started the relevant procedures, and 36 have been finalized.
