Moldova ranked 13th out of 146 in the global ranking of gender equality. The Minister of Social Protection -Alexei Buzu, informed us about it.
Thus, in one year, Moldova has risen by six positions.
“More employment services, more nurseries, and renovated kindergartens, more business support programs, more options for the use of parental leave, more anti-violence programs, more women in the police – this is how we are building an inclusive Moldova,” said the head of the Ministry of Labor.

Iceland, Finland, and Norway are among the three leaders in this rating, while the lowest level of gender equality is in Sudan (North Africa).
No other country in the world has achieved 100 percent gender equality.
