Ambassadors in Chisinau sent congratulatory messages on Europe Day

On the occasion of Europe Day, ambassadors accredited in Chisinau congratulated the Republic of Moldova and expressed their support for the country’s European path, IPN reports.

The EU Ambassador to Chisinau, Janis Mazeiks, declared that “Moldova is not alone”:

“When a Moldovan farmer accesses European markets, when a student studies abroad through the Erasmus+ program, or when a village receives clean water with EU support – all of these bring real change to people’s lives.”

Romania’s Ambassador to Chisinau, Cristian-Leon Turcanu, reaffirmed that Romania remains Moldova’s key supporter in its European integration and recalled the construction of the “Bridge of Flowers” as a symbol of the bond between both sides of the Prut River.
