American diplomats wish us “happy Mărțișor”

American diplomats from Chisinau congratulate the Moldovans on the occasion of the arrival of spring. The embassy published an image wishing the citizens “happy Mărțișor” (trans. ed.: Happy March).

The message is accompanied by a picture of the embassy team in front of the building. A huge sign was stuck on the facade of the building, right next to the inscription with the name of the institution.

The US embassy respects the traditions of our country and on traditional holidays tries to become closer to Moldovans. Traditionally, during the winter holidays, the diplomatic mission publishes greetings spoken in Romanian by the US representatives and receives carolers.

Also, as a rule, the heads of the mission try to send messages in Romanian, on the occasion of national holidays in the Republic of Moldova.
