Moldova will take out a loan of approximately €100 million to fund the construction of the Regional Hospital in Cahul, a strategic project included in the National Plan “Building European Moldova”, according to IPN.
To move forward, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the signing of a financing agreement with the European Investment Bank for the implementation of the “Regional Hospitals in the Republic of Moldova” project.
The new hospital will serve residents in southern Moldova, including Cahul, Comrat, Leova, Ceadir-Lunga, Taraclia, and Cantemir, and provide access to advanced, comprehensive medical services.
”The hospital will improve diagnostics and treatment while reducing patient costs,” stated the Ministry of Health.
