To celebrate Europe Day on May 9, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova hosts a unique exhibition where visitors explore details about the legislative institutions of EU member states and the European Parliament (EP).
The exhibition invites visitors to take a virtual tour of the parliaments of all 27 EU countries and learn about the work of the European Parliament. It presents information about the structure of these institutions and the historic buildings where lawmakers operate.
Europe Day celebrates peace and unity in Europe. It marks the anniversary of the “Schuman Declaration,” which laid the foundation for the European Union and marked a turning point in political cooperation, making war between European nations unthinkable.
