Ana Revenco stated at the Reinvent Moldova 2.0, organized by the Realitatea Media Group, that the information war does not end after elections and cannot be won by a single institution, but by a society that understands its identity and remains consistent in its values.
In her speech, Revenco addressed accountability, mentality, and the responsibility of every citizen in confronting manipulation and disinformation.
“And this counteraction is called taking responsibility. ‘I can, we can succeed’ — this reflects mentality and the way we think before we act. The title of this event, ‘I am Moldova,’ made me reflect deeply while preparing what to tell you, because this information war does not end with voting and no single institution can win it.
A society wins it when people know who they are and remain coherent when they say, ‘I know who I am,’” Revenco said.
Reinvent Moldova 2.0 took place on April 30 and brought together speakers from fields including security, economics, media, European integration, and democracy. Participants focused their discussions on the European future of the Republic of Moldova and the transformation of society.
