Anatolie Nosatii: Moldova will buy radars to monitor missiles

Moldova will have radars to monitor missiles flying over our country’s airspace, but not to shoot them down. This was announced by Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii in the program “În Profunzime” on ProTV.

According to the official, at the moment, the systems capable of hitting air targets are mainly supplied to Ukraine, while the rest go to the states that help the neighboring country.

“There is a need for interception systems, which are currently lacking. Most of them go to Ukraine, which contributes to our defense. We are still waiting, but the prices have also increased significantly,” the minister said.
