Moldelectrica announces that, following the overflight of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, today, by a missile, the situation in the country’s power system is stable.
According to those responsible, “unplanned disconnections or technological disturbances were not recorded”.
“The company’s specialists monitor the situation in the system in real time and in the event of the occurrence of any unplanned situations, they will promptly inform the public,” the informative note states.

Later, the Head of Diplomacy of the Republic of Moldova, Nicu Popescu, ordered the urgent summoning of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to indicate to the Russian side the unacceptable violation of our airspace by flying over the sovereign territory of the Republic of Moldova of a Russian missile in today’s course.
