(VIDEO) Around 70 million lei will be allocated for social services. Alexei Buzu reveals the intended beneficiaries

The Minister of Social Protection, Alexei Buzu, announced that authorities are allocating approximately 70 million lei for specialized services in social centers. He specified that around 45 such institutions will receive the financial resources.

According to the official, 93 social centers provide 136 services to 2,420 beneficiaries. These services primarily support children separated from their parents or who have experienced violence, people with special needs, and abused women. Of the 93 centers, the allocated resources will reach about half of them.

“Out of the 93 centers, we will allocate these resources to 45, representing about half of the network we manage under the ‘Restart’ reform. We aim to intervene in the infrastructure, improve the conditions for delivering these services, and increase capacity to create new services and expand the number of beneficiaries,” stated Alexei Buzu.
