After making an official visit to Brussels, Natalia Gavrilița announced her resignation. The Prime Minister reviewed the successes of the Cabinet led by her.
There are rumours that her place could be taken by the presidential adviser Dorin Recean or Vasile Tofan – representative of an American fund in Moldova and Ukraine. The latter, however, declares speculation about his appointment false.

Natalia Gavrilița and her cabinet of ministers took the oath in August 2021. Natalia Gavrilița’s team then included the Minister of Infrastructure Andrei Spînu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicu Popescu, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vladislav Kulmisnki, the Minister of Finance Dumitru Budianschi, the Minister of Economy Sergiu Gaibu, the Minister of Justice Sergiu Litvinenco, Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco, Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi, Minister of the Interior Ana Revenco, Minister of Education Anatolie Topală, Minister of Agriculture Viorel Gherciu, Minister of Culture Sergiu Prodan, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Marcel Spatari, Minister of the Environment Iuliana Cantaragiu and Governor of Gagauzia Irina Vlach.
For a year, there were several resignations and reshuffles, the heads of Agriculture, Environment, Economy, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Labor and Social Protection being changed. They were replaced by Vladimir Bolea, Iordanca Rodica Iordanov, Dumitru Alaiba, Oleg Serebrian and Alexei Buzu.
