Bulgaria is ready to help Moldova with gas supplies

Bulgaria’s energy minister, Vladimir Malinov, told Bulgarian National Radio that the country stands ready to help Moldova with gas supplies.

He said the country is in constant communication with the Moldovan energy minister.

“We are ready to support them by providing access to liquefied natural gas and through the Bulgargaz company the moment they ask for help,” TASS quoted Malinov.

The minister recalled that the countries signed an agreement on actions in a crisis.

Earlier, Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean instructed to prepare a legislative basis for the nationalization of Moldovagaz assets.

The Moldovagaz company had formed gas reserves. It would ensure Moldova’s consumption for three months of 2025.
