Challenges of the electoral process discussed by representatives of Respect Moldova and the ENEMO observers

Radu Burduja, vice president of the Respect Moldova Movement in charge of foreign relations, security, and defense, and Iulia Costin, vice president for economic affairs, met with Mariam Chubabria and Daniel Kerekes from the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO).

They discussed the main challenges of the electoral process ahead of the September 28, 2025, parliamentary elections, including limited opposition access to national media, bureaucratic hurdles for accrediting party representatives at polling stations abroad, and other critical issues affecting election integrity and transparency.

The Respect Moldova Movement stresses that a fair and transparent electoral process builds the foundation of genuine democracy and commits to collaborating with international partners to strengthen citizens’ trust in elections.
