Today, October 24, marks 107 years since the establishment of the first chamber institution — a milestone that highlights the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s enduring role as the voice of Moldova’s business community and a promoter of innovation, partnership, and progress.
The first Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Chișinău was founded on October 24, 1918, by Decree of King Ferdinand I of Romania, an event of major importance for the region’s economic, social, and institutional development.
“Through professionalism, integrity, and vision, our institution continues to act as a bridge between entrepreneurs, public authorities, and national and international partners, contributing to the modernization and competitiveness of Moldova’s economy,” reads the Chamber’s message.
On this occasion, the leadership of the Chamber extended heartfelt congratulations to its members, colleagues, entrepreneurs, and partners who share the institution’s values and contribute daily to the country’s growth through their work, courage, and initiative.
Happy Anniversary to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova — 107 years of history, tradition, and vision for the future!
