Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban pledged to keep serving the capital and to improve life nationwide.
Speaking on the “Vocile Puterii” program on Exclusiv TV, Ceban addressed questions about whether he aspires to become prime minister.
“I want the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to live better, and they can live better,” Ceban said. “If you ask me whether I have the intention and the abilities, I definitely have them. Do I want to be Prime Minister or not? I have already said what I want – to continue the mayoral mandate that the people entrusted to me.”

Ceban noted that more than half of his electoral program has already been fulfilled or is underway, and he urged other politicians to show the same responsibility toward citizens.
“Politicians must stop talking about winds, hills, east or west, and instead focus on delivering concrete results,” he added.
