In June, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova held five plenary sessions and adopted 45 normative acts, 39 laws, and six decisions.
The Parliament’s Communication and Public Relations Department reported that lawmakers voted in the first reading on 69 legislative initiatives and introduced 81 new proposals into the legislative process.
Lawmakers adopted key measures: vacation vouchers for employees, a 3,000 lei allowance for young professionals working in strategic industries during their first year of employment, and the National Fathers’ Day creation. They also approved extended paternity leave and increased financial allowances for fathers of twins or triplets.
Parliament ratified international agreements in the fields of education and cybersecurity and adopted a declaration that reaffirms Moldova’s support for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

In the first reading, lawmakers approved amendments to the 2025 state budget. These amendments allocate a one-time aid of 1,000 lei for students in grades I–IX, increase allowances for Chernobyl cleanup participants, and raise scholarships for youth in paid public sector internships.
Lawmakers are currently reviewing additional initiatives, including new regulations for freelancers and a proposed citizenship law.
