The Constitutional Court rejected the appeal filed by the Heart of Moldova Party regarding an exception of unconstitutionality. Following the ruling, the Chisinau Court of Appeal, Central Office, will resume examination of the Justice Ministry’s request to restrict the party’s activity.
The decision comes just three days before the elections, in a tense context marked by accusations and challenges from the party led by Irina Vlah.

On September 18, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) requested that the Justice Ministry take action against Heart of Moldova, accusing the party of receiving funds from illegal sources. The next day, the Ministry filed a request in court to limit the party’s activity.
