During a meeting with European Council President Charles Michel, Prime Minister Dorin Recean discussed Moldova’s accession to the European Union, regional security, and the country’s commitment to building a resilient state.
The Prime Minister outlined the government’s priorities and Moldova’s European agenda, emphasizing that the support received from Brussels reaffirmed progress in several key sectors.
“Moldova’s future is within the great European family. The government is building a European Moldova and will continue its efforts to bring well-being to every home. We are stronger together and must invest long-term in peace, prosperity, and security,” said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

European Council President Charles Michel reiterated the European Union’s ongoing support for Moldova and its reform agenda to improve citizens’ living standards.
The officials also discussed hybrid threats, cyber-attacks, and disinformation campaigns by Russia in Moldova, the country’s alignment with international sanctions, and the assistance provided through the European Peace Facility.
