Moldova’s airspace was again crossed by a drone on Monday, September 21, according to the Ministry of Defense.
“Amid the massive attacks by the Russian Federation on Ukraine, the Air Operations Service detected an unauthorized overflight by an aerial object coming from the direction of Maiaky, Odesa region, which crossed the state border at 12:34 p.m. toward Palanca, Ștefan Vodă District,” the Ministry of Defense said.
The drone subsequently left Moldovan airspace at 12:36 p.m., heading toward Ukraine in the direction of Biliaivka.
The Air Operations Service continues to monitor Moldova’s airspace in coordination with national authorities and partners.
