Chișinău will host the EU–Moldova Investment Conference on 4 June 2026, bringing together policymakers, investors, financial institutions, business leaders, and European Commission representatives to discuss Moldova’s economic transformation and investment prospects.

A key highlight of the event will be a keynote address by Eugeniu Osmochescu, titled “Growth Plan for Moldova.” His speech will focus on how the country can translate ongoing reforms, EU support, and sector-specific opportunities into concrete investment projects and long-term economic partnerships.

One of the central themes of the conference will be the implications of the EU Growth Plan for Moldova for investors and businesses. The plan represents a major investment package of up to €1.9 billion for the 2025–2027 period, aimed at accelerating economic development, strengthening competitiveness, and supporting Moldova’s path toward closer integration with the European Union.

Organizers say the conference will serve as a platform for high-level discussions, sector-focused pitching sessions, and business-to-business matchmaking, with the goal of connecting international investors with emerging opportunities in Moldova’s economy.

The event comes at a time when Moldova is seeking to position itself as an attractive destination for investment and regional expansion, emphasizing reform progress and EU-backed development initiatives.

“This conference highlights Moldova’s potential to turn investment opportunities into concrete economic partnerships,” Osmochescu noted in advance of the event.

Officials expect the conference to reinforce Moldova’s visibility among European and global investors and help accelerate the translation of policy reforms into practical economic cooperation.
