European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos will return to Moldova for a three-day visit from May 9 to 11. She announced this in Brussels during a meeting with the Moldovan delegation, who participated in the EU bilateral screening process.
“You are the first to know, outside my office: I will visit Moldova for three days, from May 9 to 11. We will celebrate Europe Day together and travel from the north to the south of Moldova, discovering the entire nation,” said Marta Kos.
The Commissioner last visited Moldova in early February 2025, when she met with President Maia Sandu and other officials to discuss joint priorities in Moldova’s EU accession process.
