On Sunday, May 18, museums will continue to welcome the public to explore the national heritage through free access to permanent and temporary exhibitions and participation in educational and recreational activities for all ages.

This year’s edition marks a key step in transforming museums into more accessible and interactive institutions. For the first time, national legislation officially includes the concept of the “virtual museum,” recognizing the role of new technologies in promoting cultural heritage and diversifying exhibition formats.
