EU’s Role in Fostering Business Development Highlighted at European Economic Forum

The European Union, in addition to its values and models of democracy, also represents support for the development of the business environment, said MEP Siegfried Mureșan at yesterday’s European Economic Forum held in Paris. In his opinion, the success stories of young entrepreneurs from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, established in European countries, argue that the European Union offers multiple opportunities for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

“Your success is also an example of the benefits offered by the European Union. Your success shows that throughout the European Union, if you work hard and are serious, you will be appreciated and you will succeed, and you can integrate. However, the European Union represents more than just business opportunities for the diaspora from Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The European Union also represents support for the development of the private sector and the economy at home, in the Republic of Moldova and Romania. The European Union means supporting small entrepreneurs, encouraging a competitive business environment, reducing corruption, measures that attract investors.”
