The Minister of Labor, Alexei Buzu, announced that 90% of the 703,000 citizens who applied for heating compensations will receive financial assistance to pay their bills. About 237 families will receive the maximum compensation of 800 lei, while another 396,600 families will receive amounts ranging from 300 to 800 lei.
The budget allocated for these compensations in November is 3.34 million lei. The minister specified that, later in the day, citizens will receive messages informing them of the compensation amount they are entitled to.
