From May 25 to June 2, the National Army will hold joint international exercises in the field of air defense: “Air Bastion-2023”. These events are provided to ensure security measures during the summit of the European Political Community.
The exercises will be held in the training centers of the National Army. More than 200 Moldovan, French, British, Romanian, and American soldiers will take part in them with the involvement of military equipment.
The purpose of the events, which are held in Moldova for the first time, is to prepare the air defense of the National Army and increase the degree of interoperability between the partner countries participating in the exercise.
Also, the military will provide air defense of the facilities designated as part of the EPC summit.
Military transport units will enter our country from May 25 to May 27 through the Leuseni checkpoint and will move along the route Leuseni – Chisinau – the military training base in Bulboaca.
