During the period of January 24-28, 2024, the Republic of Moldova will participate for the first time with a national stand at the International Tourism Fair – FITUR 2024 in Madrid, Kingdom of Spain, being the global meeting point for tourism professionals from Europe and Latin America, with the participation of 130 countries, writes Noi.md.
The delegation of the Republic of Moldova will include representatives from the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Moldova, the Medical Tourism Association of Moldova, the Employers’ Association of the Tourism Industry in Moldova – APIT, the National Association for Receptive and Internal Tourism, three travel agencies, one from the country’s wineries, and an airline.

Within the exhibition, participants will promote the national tourism offer, presenting the cultural-touristic agenda “Tree of Life” 2024, which includes 40 cultural events, wine tours, gastronomic experiences, as well as offerings related to rural, medical, and adventure tourism.
On January 26, a press conference will be held to present the tourist offer of the Republic of Moldova. During the conference, representatives of the press and tourism professionals will have the opportunity to ask questions about the presented tourist offerings and products.
The representation of the Republic of Moldova at FITUR in Madrid is ensured by the Ministry of Culture and the National Tourism Office.
