The US authorities have detained a former deputy of the Liberal Party of Moldova. Law enforcers accuse Vadim Vacarciuc of unauthorized use of identity documents.
Another man, 32-year-old Ivan Bordian, was detained on the same charge.
Vadim Vacarciuc became a member of the Moldovan Parliament on April 5, 2009. He was also the Commission for National Security, Defense, and Public Order member.
