The goal of the Moldovan government to join the European Union by 2030 is quite achievable, NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoana has said.
“Maia Sandu deserves all our appreciation. She is a remarkable leader in extremely difficult circumstances. Speaking in the parliament in Chisinau, Sandu said she aims for Moldova’s accession to the EU by 2030. This is achievable,” Geoana told reporters.
He also said that in the future, Moldovan citizens can get rid of the “geographical curse” and leave the spheres of foreign influence.
