Moldovan authorities will receive assistance from Germany to strengthen the country’s military infrastructure. Chisinau will receive non-lethal equipment, advisory services, and training for the proper use of the supplied assets.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the ratification of the Equipment Assistance Program Agreement, which also includes the deployment of a Bundeswehr Advisory Group to Moldova, according to IPN. The German team will oversee the implementation of the projects outlined in the agreement.
“Ratifying the agreement will allow us to expand existing defense cooperation by strengthening and deepening ties in the areas of advisory support, training, and equipment assistance,” stated Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii.

The agreement also sets the terms for importing and exporting equipment and grants exemptions from customs duties, taxes, and other similar obligations on the goods delivered under the program.
