The US Ambassador, Kent Doyle Logsdon, congratulated the Moldovans on the occasion of Language Day. The American diplomat spoke in Romanian and quoted Grigore Vieru.

He said he was honored to join the celebration of our national culture. To mark the moment, the foreign official decided to wear the traditional ia.

“Congratulations, Moldova, on the occasion of the celebration of Our Language! I am honored to join you in celebrating the language and culture of the Republic of Moldova by reciting a poem by the renowned Moldovan poet Grigore Vieru,” says Logsdon.
