On October 4, 2024, in New Delhi, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Sergiu Mihov, held inter-ministerial political consultations with the Secretary of State of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Tanmaya Lal. It marked the second round of political negotiations between the two countries, following the first session held in 2003.
