The mayor of the capital city, Ion Ceban, is participating in the Summit of European Mayors, which will take place in Strasbourg, France, from October 21 to 22.
“The summit is a high-level political meeting between European mayors and newly elected members of the European Parliament, where mayors can share their vision for the next mandate of the European Union,” Ceban wrote on Facebook.
The mayor added that he scheduled talks with new MEPs to discuss cooperation with the European Parliament during the Summit.
