Ion Ceban in Beijing: We discussed cooperation relations between China and Moldova

In Beijing, the mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, met with the vice president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

“We thanked them for their hospitality and discussed cooperation relations between China and Moldova.

The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries is one of the oldest national people’s organizations involved in people-to-people diplomacy in the People’s Republic of China. We have mentioned the importance of establishing cooperative relations between our communities,” said the mayor of Chisinau.

The Moldovan official also discussed the idea of partner cities, which is a good solution for developing cooperation and promoting economic, cultural, social, and tourism exchanges.

“We stressed the importance of promoting numerous social, environmental protection, education, health, infrastructure and other projects. We reiterated the cooperation relations by the Chisinau municipality established by signing cooperation agreements with three cities in China: Beijing, Xi’an, and Qingdao”, Ion Ceban added.

The mayor of Chisinau, Ion Ceban, is currently on a working visit to China.
